Warm congratulations on the successful conclusion of the 7th Pacific Rim International Conference on Adsorption Science and Technology

"The 7th Pacific Rim International Conference on Adsorption Science and Technology" was held from September 24 to 27, 2015 in Xiamen, a beautiful coastal city in China.

      As an important international academic event in the field of adsorption science and technology, the Pacific Rim International Conference on Adsorption Science and Technology is held every three years. Since the first conference was successfully held in Japan in 1997, six conferences have been held so far. This conference is the first time to return to mainland China since the fourth conference in 2006. It is hosted by the International Adsorption Association and jointly organized by the Fujian Institute of the Structure of Matter of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xiamen University and Fujian Yuanxiang New Materials Co., Ltd.

      The conference fully demonstrated the innovation achievements in this field in the past three years through conference reports, invitation reports, oral reports and posters. This conference discussed new ideas and new trends in the field of adsorption science and technology from the aspects of "Basics of Adsorption Science and Technology", "Synthesis and Characterization of New Adsorbent Materials", "Application of Adsorption Science and Technology", etc. The cooperation and innovation in this field provides an academic platform for theoretical research and achievement exchange for experts, scholars and business people in this field.

      The scale of the conference was 100 people, half of whom were from China and half from other countries and regions in the Pacific Rim. In addition, the conference affairs group also invited famous scientists in the field of adsorption science and technology from Europe and other non-Pacific Rim countries to participate in academic exchanges.
